Intellectual Pillar

For my Intellectual Pillar, I took a seminar about the Beatles with Mr. Rollinson. We learned about the history of the band and listened to all of their songs in chronological order. I took this seminar because I knew some Beatles songs, but I never knew why they were so popular and I wanted to appreciate them more.

Meet the Beatles

Our seminar met each Tuesday from 6:15 to 8:45. Mr. Rollinson gave us a different playlist each week where we would listen to all of the Beatles songs ever recorded in chronological order. Each week we would rate each song on a scale of 1-5 and then discuss our ratings during our meetings. We would also watch Beatles documentaries and learn more about the behind the scenes aspects of the Beatles. 

Rankings

Each week we ranked every song on the playlist from 1-5, and Mr. Rollinson compiled them all into a master spreadsheet. At the end of SSP, we each ranked the albums in order, and ranked our top 20 songs.
